Depending on the total amount you receive from your insurance checks, an inspection may not be required. (See the chart below for more guidance.) If an inspection is not required, you can send us any insurance checks you receive, and we will endorse and return them to you. No other steps are required.
First InspectionIf an inspection is required, you can request an inspection when repairs are 50-95% complete to receive additional insurance funds. After we receive satisfactory inspection results, we will release additional funds based on the percentage of repairs complete.
Please allow 3 to 5 business days from the date of your request for the inspector to contact you for an appointment. To avoid any delays, please request an inspection at least 10 business days before each repair completion milestone.
Final InspectionOnce you complete 95-100% of repairs to your home, you can request a final inspection to have all remaining funds released. If the inspection shows repairs are less than 95% complete, an additional inspection may be needed before we can release the remainder of your funds.
